Grace Recovery was founded as a result of God’s faithfulness during our own times of sorrow. Our desire to assist others stems from a deep sense of gratitude for the miracle that God has worked in our own lives. We are committed to helping those in need and are dedicated to providing support and guidance to those seeking recovery.
Who are we?
Grace Recovery Services is made up of recovered alcoholics and addicts who found a way out and into a spiritual way of life through the 12 steps. Our purpose is to educate and assist men and women who are seeking to recover from the disease of addiction.
Grace Recovery is an outreach with a purpose of helping those who are where we once were. We understand the struggles that addicts and alcoholics face when they decide to turn their lives around. In many instances, we have already lost our jobs, alienated friends and families, and don’t have the resources to get back on our feet. We look to ease the burden by helping connect our fellows with resources as they start their journey of recovery. We are a 501c3 non-profit and no one takes a salary. Our focus is solely on helping men and women at every stage of their recovery.
Addiction is a disease. It is not something we can shake off with a promise to do better. There is a healing of the mind that is as necessary as bandaging a deep gash on one’s arm, and the 12 steps are the answer.
Recognition that no one has to die and that there is a solution for all by grace through the 12 steps are principles that drive us to help others recover from this disease. We believe the full commitment and immersion in the 12 step process is the key to abundant recovery.
Through our own recovery, we have come to feel a deep sense of usefulness to God’s children. This has led us to seek more ways to help and utilize our own experiences, resources, and connections. This is the lifeblood of Grace Recovery Services.
If you need help or just someone to talk to, reach out to us at Grace.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
If you can support our cause, please do. If we can come talk to a group, please let us know. We want to be encouragers as our friends were encouragers, but mostly we want the light of God to shine, for all to know the joy of freedom from addiction and disease, and the peace that comes with that joy.
“For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.”
John 1:16
